Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated July 25, 2026

This Policy explains what Jobsite Stays collects, why we use it, when it may be disclosed, how long it is retained, and the choices available to you.

1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by McCrohan Supply, LLC ("Jobsite Stays," "we," "us," or "our") through jobsitestays.com, its property directory, listing-submission and billing tools, housing-request and contact forms, administrative tools, and related email, phone, or text communications (collectively, the "Service").

"Personal information" means information linked or reasonably linkable to an identified or identifiable person. It does not include information lawfully treated as public, deidentified, or aggregated under applicable law. This Policy does not govern an independent property provider's handling of information after you contact that provider or direct us to share a request with that provider.

2. Categories of information we collect

Contact and business information

Name, company, job title, email, phone number, preferred contact method and time, company website, business type, and communications with us.

Housing-request information

Project name, industry, jobsite address, requested city and ZIP code, dates, crew size, units, bedrooms, beds, housing type, budget, billing preferences, vehicle and trailer needs, pets, amenities, distance preferences, and other requirements you choose to provide. Accessibility-request text may reveal sensitive information. Describe the functional accommodation needed and avoid providing medical diagnoses or records.

Provider and property-listing information

Provider identity and contact details; property address and public-display preference; property type, rates, deposits, fees, availability, occupancy, amenities, utilities, parking, pet, smoking and accessibility information; descriptions; photos and file metadata; authority and publication confirmations; and administrative review, verification, quality, and status records.

Billing and subscription information

Stripe customer, Checkout, subscription, invoice-status, renewal, cancellation, plan, and payment-status identifiers. Stripe processes payment-card and other payment credentials. Jobsite Stays does not receive or store complete card numbers or bank-account credentials.

Support, consent, and administrative information

Support requests, subject and message, internal follow-up notes, request and submission identifiers, consent text and version, consent choice, contact methods, timestamps, IP address, browser user agent, delivery status, and records reasonably needed to document transactions, prevent duplicate submissions, secure administrative tools, and enforce agreements.

Usage, device, and attribution information

Pages viewed, search terms and filters, listing views, provider-contact clicks, event timestamps, anonymous session identifier, referring URL and domain, original landing page, campaign and UTM parameters, browser and device information, IP-derived request information, and server, security, and error logs.

Information you should not submit

Do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, full payment-card numbers, bank credentials, account passwords, medical records, medical diagnoses, or other unnecessary sensitive information through listing, housing-request, or contact fields. If you send information we did not request, we may delete it or retain it only as reasonably necessary for security, legal, or support purposes.

3. Sources of information

  • Directly from you, when you submit a listing, housing request, contact message, consent, billing action, or other communication.
  • Automatically from your browser or device, through requests, logs, essential cookies, session storage, and first-party analytics events.
  • From service providers, such as Stripe subscription and payment status, hosting and delivery logs, and security or error information.
  • From another authorized person, when a company representative, property manager, or other person submits information on behalf of an organization or property.
  • From public or authorized sources, when reasonably needed to investigate fraud, verify authority, respond to a complaint, enforce a policy, or comply with law.

4. Public listing information

When a provider authorizes and we approve publication, a listing may display property details, photos, rates, policies, amenities, availability, a general or exact location, provider business name, business phone, business email, and website. Providers control whether an exact street address is submitted for public display. Providers should use business contact details intended for public use.

Public listing information can be viewed, copied, indexed, cached, archived, or redistributed by search engines and third parties outside our control. Removing or changing a listing does not guarantee immediate removal from third-party copies, search results, browser caches, or archives.

5. How we use information

  • Receive, review, publish, search, rank, maintain, update, suspend, and remove property advertisements.
  • Respond to housing requests, identify potentially relevant listings or providers, communicate about requirements, and document request outcomes.
  • Create Stripe Checkout and Customer Portal sessions, synchronize subscriptions, administer annual renewals and cancellations, prevent duplicate charges, and maintain billing records.
  • Send receipts, submission confirmations, approval or correction requests, listing activation, renewal, cancellation, service, security, and policy notices.
  • Provide support, respond to privacy and accessibility requests, investigate complaints, and maintain business records.
  • Measure traffic, searches, listing interactions, contact clicks, submission and purchase conversion, campaign attribution, site reliability, and provider advertising performance.
  • Detect and prevent spam, duplicate submissions, fraud, scraping, malicious activity, security incidents, payment abuse, and violations of our agreements.
  • Comply with law, lawful process, tax and accounting requirements, insurance obligations, and requests from authorities; establish or defend legal claims; and protect users, the public, and the Service.
  • Create aggregated or deidentified information that is not reasonably linkable to a person and use it for analytics, planning, reporting, and service improvement.

We may use information for another purpose disclosed when it is collected, with your direction or consent, or as otherwise permitted by law. We do not use housing-request or accessibility information to make credit, employment, insurance, or other legally significant automated decisions.

6. How and to whom information is disclosed

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Publicly, when a provider authorizes publication of listing and business-contact information.
  • To independent property providers, when you contact them directly or ask us to connect, match, or communicate a housing request. A provider receiving information acts under its own privacy practices and legal obligations.
  • To service providers and processors, that support hosting, databases, storage, content delivery, email, security, error monitoring, analytics infrastructure, payment processing, billing, and professional services. They may use information only to perform contracted services or as law permits.
  • To Stripe, for provider Checkout, payment, invoice, subscription, renewal, cancellation, fraud-prevention, and billing-portal services.
  • For legal, security, and safety purposes, when reasonably necessary to comply with law or lawful process; respond to authorities; investigate fraud, abuse, infringement, or security events; enforce agreements; protect rights, property, or safety; or establish and defend claims.
  • In a business transaction, in connection with due diligence, financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale, bankruptcy, or transfer of some or all of the business or assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.
  • At your direction or with consent, or for another purpose disclosed when the information is collected.

We may disclose aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify a person, provided we maintain it in deidentified form where required by law.

7. Sale, targeted advertising, and profiling

Jobsite Stays does not sell personal information for money. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by applicable U.S. state privacy laws. We do not currently use third-party behavioral-advertising cookies or pixels on the public directory.

We do not profile individuals in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Sharing information with a property provider at your direction, publishing provider-authorized business information, or using contracted service providers is not a sale for targeted advertising.

8. Cookies, session storage, and browser signals

We use essential cookies for secure administrative sessions and related security functions. We use browser session storage to maintain a first-touch attribution record and anonymous analytics session identifier during a browser session. Our first-party analytics records page views, searches, listing interactions, referrers, and campaign parameters in our application database.

You can configure your browser to block cookies or clear local storage, but some secure or stateful functions may not work. Because the public directory does not currently sell information or use it for targeted advertising, "Do Not Track" and universal opt-out signals do not change our present practices. If our practices change so that applicable law requires us to honor a recognized universal opt-out signal, we will do so.

9. Payments and Stripe

Stripe independently processes provider payment details and may collect contact, billing, device, and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy policy. Jobsite Stays receives limited customer, Checkout, subscription, invoice-status, renewal, and cancellation information needed to administer listing access and billing. We do not receive or store complete card numbers, card security codes, or online-banking credentials.

10. Communications, consent, and choices

Operational messages about a housing request, listing, payment, invoice, renewal, cancellation, security event, support matter, or policy enforcement are necessary to provide the Service. You can update provider billing through Manage Listing & Billing.

When you select phone or text as a preferred contact method and affirmatively consent, we may use the number supplied to communicate about that request. Message and data rates may apply. If recurring automated marketing texts are introduced, we will obtain any separate consent required by law and provide STOP and HELP instructions. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchasing a listing or using the directory. Marketing emails, if offered, include an unsubscribe method. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary service or billing notices.

11. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining accurate records, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, insurance, and security requirements. Typical periods are:

  • Active listings and provider records: while the listing relationship remains active, plus a reasonable period for restoration, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and legal records.
  • Billing, subscription, transaction-status, automatic-renewal, and consent records: generally up to seven years after the relevant transaction or relationship ends.
  • Housing requests, contact messages, matching records, and support correspondence: generally up to three years after the matter closes, unless a longer period is needed for an active relationship, legal claim, safety issue, or documented consent.
  • First-party analytics and attribution events: generally up to 24 months, after which they may be deleted, aggregated, or deidentified.
  • Security, access, and error logs: for operationally appropriate cycles, with longer retention when needed to investigate abuse, security incidents, or legal claims.
  • Backups: until overwritten through ordinary backup cycles, subject to access restrictions and restoration controls.

We may retain information longer when law requires it, a legal hold applies, deletion would compromise security or fraud prevention, or the information has been aggregated or deidentified. Public content may remain in third-party caches or archives after deletion from our systems.

12. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including HTTPS, access controls, password hashing for administrative credentials, session expiration, managed hosting, database controls, private file storage with time-limited access URLs, restricted payment credentials, and Stripe webhook-signature verification. Access is limited based on operational need.

No system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for using secure devices and communications, protecting credentials and email access, verifying provider payment instructions, and promptly reporting suspected misuse to support@jobsitestays.com.

13. Privacy rights and request process

Depending on your residence and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
  • Obtain a portable copy of personal information you provided, where technically feasible.
  • Opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or legally significant profiling when applicable.
  • Withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent.
  • Appeal a denial of a qualifying privacy request.
  • Exercise rights without unlawful discrimination.

Submit a request to privacy@jobsitestays.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and state the right you want to exercise. To protect information, we may verify your identity by matching reliable information already in our records and may request proof of authority from an authorized agent. Do not email identity documents unless we specifically request a secure method.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. When the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies, this is generally 45 days, subject to a permitted extension. If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing the same address with the subject "Privacy Appeal" and explaining the basis for the appeal. We will respond to a qualifying appeal within the period required by law. We may deny or limit requests when an exception applies, identity cannot be verified, the request is excessive or abusive, or fulfilling it would adversely affect another person's rights.

14. Texas, California, and other state disclosures

For residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, the categories collected during the preceding 12 months are described in Section 2; sources in Section 3; business and commercial purposes in Section 5; and recipient categories in Section 6. We do not sell personal information for money, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for legally significant profiling. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes in a manner that triggers California's "Shine the Light" disclosure requirement. We use sensitive information only as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, secure the Service, comply with law, and perform other purposes permitted without a separate right to limit under applicable law.

Texas residents may learn more about the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or submit a consumer complaint through the Texas Attorney General's consumer privacy page.

15. Children

The Service is intended for adults and businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Listing subscriptions and housing requests may be submitted only by adults authorized to enter the applicable agreement. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact privacy@jobsitestays.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

16. Independent providers and third-party links

The Service contains contact information and links for independent property providers and other third parties. Once you leave Jobsite Stays, contact a provider, or direct disclosure to a provider, that party's privacy policy and practices govern its handling of your information. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party privacy, security, communications, payment instructions, or content. Review their policies before providing information.

17. United States operations

The Service is designed for use in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other locations where contracted service providers operate, subject to their safeguards and applicable law. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that privacy laws and government-access rules may differ from those in your location.

18. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service, data practices, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. We will post the revised Policy and provide additional notice of material changes when required by law. Prior versions may be retained for business and legal records.

19. Contact and accessibility

Privacy questions, rights requests, and appeals may be emailed to privacy@jobsitestays.com. General support is available through the contact page or at support@jobsitestays.com.
